Sausage & Penne alla Vodka

When hungry family members are on there way home for dinner whip up our Sausage & Penne a la Vodka recipe! A creamy sauce with savory sausage over a pile of pasta, will have everyone busting the door down for dinner!

  • Greenridge Farm Black Forest Sausage, chopped into small pieces  
  • 1 box of penne pasta (1 lb)
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup Vodka of choice
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated



  1. Cook pasta according to package.
  2. In a large skillet melt butter or margarine over medium heat.
  3. Add sausage, and saute until lightly browned. 
  4. Stir in the Vodka until it is reduced by half, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Next add the tomato sauce and cream. Simmer uncovered for 10 to 12 minutes, stir every few minutes.
  6. Combine the pasta to the sauce, heat through.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Enjoy!
